For nearly eight years, I have been organizing exhibitions at Galerie aKonzept in Berlin. Over time, this work has led me to explore the works of lesser-known artists, beyond the few names that regularly dominate auction catalogs.
While collaborating with Emmanuelle Rapin on the exhibition, catalog, and website dedicated to the book editions of Hungarian artist Endre Tót, I delved into a field that truly captivated me. For several years, I searched for his books wherever possible to reconstruct his work from 1971 to 1989. One publication was missing from my collection, a book published by Jean Sellem, who had organized two exhibitions of Tót. After reaching out to him, we visited him in Sweden. His gallery, active from 1971 to 1982, holds a valuable archive that he entrusted to me about two years ago, still in collaboration with Emmanuelle Rapin.
Now located in Switzerland, this archive is currently being digitized to make it accessible to everyone online. A beta version is available hier ◉.
The project centered around Endre Tót’s book editions is now complete and published ◉. A catalog has also been printed and can be ordered hier ◉.
In addition to my work with the gallery and archives, I see myself as a transient collector. I acquire works with enthusiasm and admiration before offering them for sale after a certain period. A selection of works for sale is displayed above ↑
The website is in English to facilitate its distribution, but I also respond in French and German.
